This autumn, we look forward to bringing together a group of peers for meaningful dialogue, as UN Global Compact Finland launches a series of exclusive roundtable discussions focused on key business and human rights topics.
Designed for companies with advanced human rights practices, the series offers a confidential setting to share experiences, challenges, and strategies.
Themes of discussion:
Each two-hour session will take place in person in Helsinki from 9.00-11.00 on the following dates: 9 September, 9 October, and 4 November 2025.
The group is only for participant companies. Applications close 20 August.
The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) celebrate their 15th anniversary this year. The UN Human Rights Council endorsed the UNGPs unanimously, marking the first time that, at an international forum, the duties of States, the responsibilities of companies, and access to remedies were agreed upon.
Shift, the leading center of expertise on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, is hosting webinars to review what the EU Omnibus Simplification Package (OSP) changes mean in practice for how companies should report on sustainability issues and conduct due diligence.
