Register nowThe SBTi Starter Pack is a focused and action-driven online programme designed to equip Nordic companies with the knowledge and tools needed to commit to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The programme consists of three webinars which 1) prepare participants to set SBTi targets, 2) walk through the target-setting process, and 3) discuss how to stay on track to meet the climate targets. Participants will also join an online discussion platform where you can ask questions directly to SBTi experts and connect with peers.
The programme is a collaboration between the UN Global Compact networks of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
The programme is specifically designed for climate specialists in large (over 250 employees) Nordic companies preparing to set Science-Based Targets (SBTs). Hence, the programme will not be covering basic training in the GHG Protocol. The programme will not be covering the SBTI’s SME Route either.
All companies committed to the UN Global Compact in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden can join the programme.
While the SBTi Starter Pack covers some of the same material as in the Climate Ambition Accelerator, the programme is solely focused on SBTi and is specifically designed to help larger companies to commit to and set targets through the SBTi.
Participation in the Climate Ambition Accelerator is not a prerequisite to participate in the SBTi Starter Pack. However, if your company has already participated in the Climate Ambition Accelerator but has not yet set science based targets, the SBTi Starter Pack will help you on that journey.
The programme will guide you in the right direction, but we unfortunately cannot offer direct help with target-setting as part of the programme.
Participation is free of charge, and you may bring several colleagues onboard the programme.
Bear in mind that only companies committed to the UN Global Compact in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden can join the programme.
We encourage you to participate in all webinars. However, if you miss one of them you will be able to watch a recording of the session and review the slides.
More representatives from one company may join the programme. The programme does not currently have a participation cap.
