Nature-Based Solutions for Enhanced Climate Resilience

UN Global Compact Network UK is hosting a 'Building Business Climate Resilience' event series ahead of COP26.

Nature-based solutions (NbS) are interventions that work with natural habitats to address societal challenges whilst benefiting nature.

This event will showcase two best practice case studies highlighting companies that are effectively implementing nature-based solutions at scale to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, support climate resilience, and contribute to broader sustainable development goals. Guest speakers will share their experiences of using nature-based solutions, the benefits of doing so, and how they have overcome challenges.

This is the second webinar of a three-part series aiming to support companies to enhance business resilience, and in turn broader societal and environmental resilience to climate change.

This event is open and free of charge for all, taking place on 22 September 2021 at 12:00–13:00 Finnish time.
