About the UN Forum on Business & Human Rights

  • The 15th United Nations Forum on Business & Human Rights will be held in Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, on 23–25 November 2026

  • UN Global Compact Finland is coordinating a delegation of Finnish companies

  • The theme of 2026 celebrates the 15 years of UNGPs: Building on Gains, Confronting Gaps, Reimagining the Future

  • Annually, the Forum gathers together over 4,000 in-person and online participants from government, business, community groups and civil society, law firms, investor organisations, UN bodies, national human rights institutions, trade unions, academia and the media.

  • During the forum, participants take part in panel discussions on topics that relate to the UNGPs (UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights) and get the opportunity to network, participate in multiple events and learn about the latest initiatives related to business and human rights.

Finland's Business Delegation

UN Global Compact Finland is mobilizing a Finnish business delegation to allow companies to engage effectively at the Forum.

  • The Forum is open to all relevant stakeholder groups, including public, private, and civil society

  • UNGC Finland coordinates Finnish business delegation participation and invitations

  • Delegation membership provides access to relevant events hosted by the UN Global Compact and other stakeholders, a global network of committed companies, as well as regular updates from UNGC Finland
