After a long period mainly shaped by industry self-regulation, companies now face comprehensive expectations, detailed both in soft law standards and – increasingly – hard law.

The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) celebrate their 15th anniversary this year. The UN Human Rights Council endorsed the UNGPs unanimously, marking the first time that, at an international forum, the duties of States, the responsibilities of companies, and access to remedies were agreed upon.
This interactive session will deepen key learnings from the course. Participants will explore the living wage guidance in more detail and hear first-hand examples and expert insights on practical implementation.
