UN Global Compact Network UK is organizing a four-part webinar series on Climate & Human Rights.
Companies that implement a just transition will better manage the risks associated with the transition to a net-zero economy and will reap the benefits, both economic and reputational, of related opportunities.
This session will examine how the steps taken against climate change can impact the workers and communities most affected by the transition to net-zero. It will highlight best practice examples from companies who have made commitments in this space and include civil society voices to present the idea of a human right to a just transition.
This session is part 2 of a four-part Climate Action and Business & Human Rights webinar series that will support companies to take holistic action to address climate and human rights-related issues by raising awareness, addressing challenges, and demonstrating practical actions. Registration is open here for parts 3 and 4 as well:
Join this session to receive the latest updates about the Communication on Progress and pose your questions to the Global Compact Office.
This series of three webinars will take you through innovative approaches to conducting risk assessments and gaining actionable insights that can then be addressed through collaborative, data-driven approaches with measurable results.
