UN Global Compact Local Networks of the UK and US are organizing a webinar series on child labour in supply chains.
The discovery of child labour in a company’s supply chain can have devastating impacts on a brand and the risk of this happening is real. More than 152 million children worldwide are engaged in child labour today, and child labour is endemic in many sourcing countries.
This webinar will introduce the issue of child labour in global supply chains and provide suggestions for practical solutions by highlighting key stakeholders’ actions. The event is the first installment of a five-part webinar series, and is open and free of charge for all.
