Effective LGBTIQ+ inclusion ensures everyone feels comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work and generates direct benefits for business.
This session will examine steps which businesses can take to ensure they are supporting their transgender employees to thrive in the workplace, going beyond actions which simply mitigate reputational and legal risks. It will include best practice case studies from business, as well as guidance from civil society.

The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) celebrate their 15th anniversary this year. The UN Human Rights Council endorsed the UNGPs unanimously, marking the first time that, at an international forum, the duties of States, the responsibilities of companies, and access to remedies were agreed upon.
This interactive session will deepen key learnings from the course. Participants will explore the living wage guidance in more detail and hear first-hand examples and expert insights on practical implementation.
