UN Global Compact Network UK is organizing a four-part webinar series on Climate & Human Rights.
This session will feature interventions from those with lived experience of aggravated impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss on the grounds of gender, age, or membership of an indigenous community.
It will showcase case studies in which the private sector has effectively engaged with those most vulnerable through inclusive and participatory development approaches. The session will also explore how partnerships with communities can support the effective implementation of nature-based solutions.
This session is part three of a four-part Climate Action and Business & Human Rights webinar series. Registration is open here for the final part, addressing Supply Chain Solutions on 15 June.
In this session, sustainability experts will unpack the latest EU policy developments, with a focus on how the finalized EU Omnibus I reshapes sustainability due diligence and reporting requirements — and what this means for companies seeking to maintain high ambition and impact.

The UN Human Rights Council endorsed the UNGPs unanimously, marking the first time that, at an international forum, the duties of States, the responsibilities of companies, and access to remedies were agreed upon.
