Ympäristö ja ilmasto

Vastuu ympäristöstä ja ilmastosta on toimintamme keskiössä. YK:n Global Compactin kymmenestä periaatteesta kolme koskee ympäristöasioita. Nämä kolme periaatetta perustuvat YK:n Rion ympäristöä ja kehitystä koskevaan julistustukseen.

Periaate 7: Yritysten tulee tukea varovaisuusperiaatetta ympäristöasioissa.

Periaate 8: Yritysten tulee tehdä aloitteita, jotka edistävät vastuullisuutta ympäristöasioissa.

Periaate 9: Yritysten tulee kannustaa ympäristöystävällisten teknologioiden kehittämistä ja levittämistä.

Suoraan tähän teemaan kytkeytyvät kestävän kehityksen tavoitteet:

Lisäksi esimerkiksi ilmastonmuutoksella ja luontokadolla on vaikutuksia lähes kaikkiin muihin kestävän kehityksen tavoitteisiin, kuten tavoitteisiin 1, 2 ja 3.
